If you want to integrate our content in an automatic and extensive way, you will want to integrate a content-feed solution. We offer feeds for different platforms that allow you to synchronize your database or update your website dynamically with our content.
XML Feeds
Using our XML content feeds provides you with the ability to fully customise how the video and meta data (images, synopsis, etc) displays on your site. The feeds update automatically as soon as we update our database and provide you access to our content in an efficient manner. The integration of the XML feed on your website requires a small programming effort, but we have made it easy to understand our feeds with our API documentation, that you can download in the menu on the left of this page. Each XML feed can be segmented to content that is relevant to release date or genre of the film.
Preview Networks XML feeds have been developed according to XMl standards in order to guarantee an easy and powerful integration with your website. A good introduction to XML can be found HERE.
What content can you find in the XML Feed?
- Teaser and/or Trailer of every single movie in the Preview Networks database being distributed in UK.
- Additional Extras clips (backstage, scenes from the movie, interview with the director/actors/red carpet etc..)
- Movie Poster (in a small and large resolution if available), square Gallery Image, at least one Lobby Still picture in 4:3, and a Video Still picture in 16:9.
- Metadata including: synopsis, premiere date, director, actors, genre, production country and year, distributor, film length and imdb reference number.
What kind of video format and resolution are the video assets?
Each video comes in:
- 4 formats: flv, wmw, mp4, 3gP
- up to 8 resolutions: small, medium, large,xlarge, xxlarge and three HD formats, when available.
